Warranty & Support Plans
All Tobii Dynavox devices come with our Manufacturer’s Warranty for two years. Some of our devices include our TD Care extended warranty, which is comprised of the Manufacturer’s Warranty plus additional useful safeguards. It’s possible to extend TD Care on devices which include it and to add it to other devices at the moment of purchase only. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Tobii Dynavox Manufacturer’s Warranty
All Tobii Dynavox devices come with a minimum 2-year Manufacturer’s Warranty. Additional accessories such as cases, bags, keyguards, switches and mount plates come with a 90-day warranty, and device mounts come with a 1-year warranty. Our TD Care Warranty is not available for these additional accessories and device mounts.
Our Pledge
We warrant, during a period of two years from the date of shipment*, that our delivered products:
- Correspond in all material respects to their specifications
- Are free from defects of materials or workmanship
- Function subject to their intended use
*The 2-year warranty period starts from the date the product is shipped from Tobii Dynavox’s manufacturing facility when it is first purchased. If the device is repaired or exchanged, the original warranty will still start at the original date of shipment (of the original device) when it was first purchased; a new 2-year period will not be restarted.
Limitations
This warranty does not apply to consumable items, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to defects in materials and workmanship.
Tobii Dynavox warrants that, if applicable, the product batteries will materially function in accordance with specifications for:
- Ninety (90) days from delivery for external batteries
- Twelve (12) months from delivery of Tobii Dynavox products with internal batteries
Products and accessories sold by us which are not manufactured by Tobii Dynavox are not covered by the Tobii Dynavox Manufacturer Warranty, nor are defects or malfunctions caused by:
- Third party products
- Alteration or modification of the product(s)
- Using the product(s) in a way which is inconsistent with the intended purpose
- Using the product(s) in a manner or purpose other than specified in the user manual
- Negligence
- Normal wear and tear of the hardware
The Tobii Dynavox Manufacturer Warranty is considered null and void if damage has been caused, in our estimation, by disassembly or other modification by any party who is not specifically authorised by Tobii Dynavox to provide such service.
Warranty Validity
The Tobii Dynavox Manufacturer’s Warranty is only valid for products purchased directly from Tobii Dynavox or an authorised Tobii Dynavox partner. Please note that when you purchase a product from a dealer that is not authorised, you are taking a risk, as the products may be counterfeit, used, damaged, defective, stolen, or may not be designated for use in your country. Please protect yourself, and your Tobii Dynavox product, by ensuring you purchase through proper channels. A complete list of Tobii Dynavox authorised partners can be found here. Liability
Tobii Dynavox shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for any indirect or consequential damage, including but not limited to loss of business or goodwill, loss of revenue or loss of profits. Tobii Dynavox´s liability under the warranty shall be limited to the order sum, i.e. the total price of Products and Services delivered. This warranty does not guarantee uninterrupted use of your device.
Neither party shall be liable to the other for failure or delay in the performance of an obligation due to events that are unforeseeable and beyond the control of either Party, such as but not limited to war, fire, explosion, labour conflicts, acts of nature, embargoes or government regulations and restrictions that interfere with the obligations carried out hereunder, provided that the Party affected by such case of force majeure gives prompt written notice of such condition to the other Party and resumes its performance as soon as reasonably possible.

What is TD Care?
TD Care is an extension of our Manufacturer’s Warranty. It’s included with some of our devices and can be added to others.
How it works
TD Care offers an unmatched industry-wide level of protection, including unlimited accidental damage claims per year on the device itself, batteries and even chargers. It’s possible to extend TD Care on devices which include it and to add it to other devices at the moment of purchase only. We'd be happy to talk to you about your requirements.
